It has been one year to the day since my bootleg album "Copied But Not Pasted" hit the internet. The album, which was a collection of bootleg remixes, highlighted some artists that have been a big inspiration in my life. Each track maintained most of the original stylings, but with a more personal attitude. With a copy of Ableton and an overarching desire to really get serious about my craft, I kept moving forward.
Currently, with a label release under my belt, a handful of bona-fide remixes, and another release "Ism" set for later this month, I wanted to give away something for free -- "Voices".
This album continues with the idea that music is a voice. Through vocal sampling I attempt here to take that artistic voice from one artisan, and combine it with my own to bring about a whole new statement. Sit back, close your eyes, and relax -- or stand up, move your legs, and dance.
You can purchase "Dream Terminal" or pre-order "Ism" from any of your favorite online retailers.
Disclaimer: No copyright infringement is intended with using the vocal samples -- my only wish is to take art and try and re-express the emotions that I feel from the music.
